Classic Book Discussion, Monday, Nobember 5 at 7:00 p.m.

Join us for a discussion of The Secret Agent by Joseph Conrad. Discussion led by guest faciliator Roslyn Gerken.

This is a novel based on a real attempt by anarchists to bomb the Greenwich observatory at the beginning of the 20th century, when European and American leaders were the object of assassination plots. This is also a discussion group, so feel free to bring your ideas and/or to offer your observations. Which character is "unforgettable"? Which character do you sympathize with? Which passages do you think are well-written? Why is this novel considered a masterpiece?
