Preventing Identity Theft, Thursday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m.

Identity theft is a serious crime and occurs when someone uses your personal identifying information, like your name, Social Security number, or credit card number, without your permission, to commit fraud or other crimes. The Somerset County Division of Consumer Protection will present this free and educational program to help you identify types of identity theft, preventive measures and what to do should your identity be compromised.

Presenters include: State certified Investigator Walter Wynkoop, Investigator Xie Piercey, and Eileen V. Popovich, Director of the Somerset County Division of Consumer Protection.
