Canal Society of New Jersey display, June 30 to July 31

The Canal Society of New Jersey has produced a number of stand-up panels describing both the Morris Canal and the Delaware and Raritan Canal, the state's two towpath canals.

The exhibit, featuring many historic photographs, shows the route of these waterways, the reason for their existence, their engineering, the vessels, the culture that developed around them, and their demise.

This disply will be on view for the entire month of July. Stop by the library for this free program.
