Pysanky refers to the painting of raw eggs, and stems from the verb pysaty (to write) as the design are actually written on the egg, which is then dyed in several colors.
Master Artist Olga Kobryn, who has been practicing Pysanky since she was ten years old, will present samples of painted eggs and describe the process of making them.
